What is KUpload+ AJAX Progress Bar ?

KUpload+ has a special add-on control, called KFileUploadPlusProgressBar, which includes Ajax based ProgressBar. It displays various status information about the current upload, just like pure HTML progress bar but instead of popup window it uses an inline progress bar with the AJAX technology. KFileUploadPlusProgressBar Control takes full advantage of AJAX and the new features of Microsoft's next-generation IDE - Visual Studio .NET 2005, hence allowing developers to enjoy significant productivity gains, while delivering feature-rich, standards-compliant and cross-browser compatible web applications.

Customizable Progress Area

The progress area can be fully customized to suit your needs. The progress area displays various information about the status of the upload progress.

• The file name being currently uploaded

• The timer data (the elapsed and the estimated times)

• The Status Bar (displays the status transferring or cancelling)

• A Cancel button

The progress area displays the progress of the whole page, not only the files uploaded with KUpload+. This is because the size of the files cannot be determined before they are completely uploaded on the server.

Skin Customization

You can create your own custom skin. Each skin is a set of style sheets which are applied on the KFileUploadPlusProgressBar Control structure elements. The easiest approach for creating a custom skin is to change one of the default skins to fit your needs.
